If you are added to the Crew List but do not have a password yet you can create one by clicking on the Login link in the Crew List menu. On the next page you enter the email address that is currently registered with your information in the Crew List and afterwards you check the "Create account" button. You will now get a randomly created password by clicking on the "Proceed" button.
In some cases this might not work since some people have been entered manually. Therefore, if you encounter any problems in setting-up an account for you can send an email to the webmaster and he will send you your login details.

The password allows you to login and edit the information you submitted to the Crew List. You are also able to delete your entries or to add new ones.

You can add yourself to the Crew List by clicking on the Add yourself to the Crew-List link on the Crew List main page. On this page you will be able to enter your information and submit it.

You can edit the information you submitted to the Crew List by going to the Login page. there, you enter the email address you submitted and your password. In your account you now can edit and delete existing entries or add new ones. Your account can be found by clicking the User area-link in the lower line.

To change your email address and/or password log in to your account and select the "User Area" link on the bottom of the page. On the next page, select the "Entries"-tab and select the information you would like to change.

If you forgot your password, you can go to the Login page and follow the respective instructions to get a new one. You will be asked for the email address the new password is to be sent to. Please note that this email address has to be the one you registered when you set up your crew list account. Your old password will be reset and you are then able to login using the new password. The password can be changed again after login.

We are aware of problems with browsers included in the AOL software and that this can cause problems with our log in mechanism. If you encounter problems, please use a browser provided by your operating system (IE on Windows, Safari on Mac OS X) or an otherwise freely available browser like Mozilla Firefox or Opera.

The Crew List is a section of the Unofficial US Navy Site maintained by Thoralf Doehring. The Crew List is intended to allow sailors to find old shipmates by publishing their contact information on the internet. All information are stored in a database and will only be used for the purpose they have been collected for. Your email address etc. will never be sold or given to any third parties.

To add your photo to your entries, you have to log in first. If you are logged in, you have to click the "User Area"-link in the lower line. On the following page, there's a link called Add a photo of you to your entry. Click on it. then you'll see a small field and next to it there's a browse button. Either you specify the path and file name of the photo by filling the field, or you click the Browse Button. If you found your image, click the Upload button. If everything was done correctly, a photo link will appear in the Remarks field of your entries, and your photo will be shown on your Edit-page.

He's a friend of me, the Navysite.de webmaster, and like the entire website he is in no way connected to the US Navy or any other US military branch. Due to some people sending spam mailings to registered members, we decide to secure the contact features a little bit. To send an email to someone in the Crew List you have to be registered and logged in.
Because of the register form asking for some details which only apply to those who served aboard a US Navy Ship we added an extra feature for the civilian folks. You can use this form to register. Afterwards you can log in, and contact everyone in the crew list.

Sometimes it might happen that the validation code - which is part of the registration - does not show up. If this is the case, please try to reload the page. In most of the cases, this solves the problem. If you are still not able to view the code, you can also send your information to the Webmaster and your account will be created manually. Please include at least your command's name and number and the period you served aboard. You will later receive an email with your login information.
