USS Berkeley (DDG 15)

USS BERKELEY was the 14th CHARLES F. ADAMS - class guided missile destroyer. Starting with BERKELEY, the following ships in the CHARLES F. ADAMS - class guided missile destroyers were equipped with Mk 13 missile launchers instead of the Mk 11 missile launchers. USS BERKELEY was decommissioned and stricken from the Navy list on October 1, 1992. The ship was transfered to Greece the same day and renamed THEMISTOKLES. She remained in service until February 18, 2002.
