USS SPARTANBURG COUNTY was the 14th NEWPORT - class Tank Landing Ship. Both decommissioned and stricken from the Navy list on December 16, 1994, the SPARTANBURG COUNTY was subsequently sold to Malaysia where she was recommissioned as SRI INDERAPURA.
