One of the NATICK - class large harbor tugs, the SACO was the third ship in the Navy to bear the name. Initially assigned to the Guam Naval Station, the tug later transfered to the US west coast. The SACO was stricken from the Navy list on June 9, 2004, and later sold for scrap.
