One of the NATICK - class large harbor tugs, the NEODESHA is based at Naval Station Pearl Harbor, Hi. On August 3, 2007, she was reclassified as IX 540 and assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit One at Pearl Harbor serving as a salvage training hulk.
